When one thinks of hockey it’s only natural to think of hockey players as ugly, messy beards and toothless men. They’re however so much more than that. As you will find out hockey players are men of impeccable style and are known to be quite good-looking. So much so that by the end of this article, you might think that being a handsome fella is a prerequisite to playing in the NHL. Let’s find out who the best-looking NHL Players are in 2024.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
The big burly defender is one hunk of meat. At 6’3”, 231lbs, there is a lot of Zach to go around and I’m sure the ladies aren’t complaining about it. Over the past few years, he has adopted the thick luscious beard which may or may not be your thing but one thing is for certain, no matter what city Zach plays in, he sure looks good.
He is the NHL’s relegant problem man from his fallout with the Winnipeg Jets to the fake COVID vaccination attempt. Off-ice attention follows Evander, but observers fail to notice his stylish looks. A former model of ESPN’s body issue, Evander has the rugged, handsome features that follow his off-ice persona, making him that much more captivating.
He’s probably the one name on this list you haven’t heard about and this certainly has nothing to do with his looks. Hudson is 28 years old and has spent parts of the past 7 years in the NHL. He’s played for the Buffalo Sabres, Arizona Coyotes (now Utah) and most recently the NY Islanders and he’s never played more than 49 games in a season but he’s put together back-to-back 40+ game seasons with the Islanders so he might have finally found his footing at the NHL level.
He might not be the best player on this list but his looks are among the NHL’s best. His blonde flow will leave you staring at him no matter what jersey he’s wearing.
He’s a stay-at-home defender and I’m sure many girls want to stay home with him. Ben Chiarot has suited up for numerous NHL teams during his 12-year career and has two years left on a four-year contract signed with the Detroit Red Wings. So, if you’re ever in the motor city please be sure to stop by Little Caesars Arena and you’ll see a man you won’t be able to take your eyes off of.
Timo Meier might have the most unique face on this list because his eyes are truly captivating. You can get lost in those bad boys. It makes you wonder why he’s been able to score so many goals at the NHL level. He has scored 191 times at only 27 years of age. Is his shot and deceptiveness allowing him to score or do tendies just get lost in his eyes?
He’s number #15 on this list but is the recipient of the ultimate cutie award in the National Hockey League. I mean look at that face! At only 23 years old he’s one of the youngest players on this list. He’s blessed with the baby face and coupled with that flow of hair, he will be a force for the Buffalo Sabres for years to come.
I’m going, to be honest, he’s here solely because of the flow. His luscious black hair matches his slick skating ability perfectly. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have taken the spotlight from him when it comes to stardom in Pittsburgh and for who is most responsible for playoff success over the past 15 years but it’s Kris Letang who takes home the best-looking award for all three of their Stanley Cup runs.
The 2014 1st overall draft pick isn’t unfamiliar with the spotlight. He has patrolled Florida’s defensive unit for years. He’s a Stanley Cup Champion and a Calder trophy winner, so his on-ice talents speak for themselves and better yet he’s not too shabby in the looks department either. Mr. Ekblad is the subject of trade rumours right now. His on-ice performance will help any team chase their Stanley Cup dreams and his looks will draw many women to the stands. Why wouldn’t a team trade for him?
A constant knock against the NHL is the lack of personality and marketability of its players. Players tend to not focus on themselves and levitate toward team discussion rather than personal greatness. While admirable it lacks what the media wants, which is something to stir the pot with. Trevor Zegras is a marketable personality and something refreshing for the NHL. His looks, flow and style don’t hurt either. He’s one of the bright spots on this young Anaheim Ducks roster, after a trying 2023-24 campaign, I’m sure he’ll bounce back and we will all get to see more of the good Trevor Zegras this season.
11. Max Domi
Mr. Max Domi. Say less. Max took all of Canada’s hearts winning gold for Team Canada at the 2015 World Junior Championship, and frankly, he’s never been out of our sights since. The son of legendary NHL heavyweight Tie Domi, Max is a perfect blend of skill and feistiness and with that jawline, it should at least soften the blow Leafs fans are dealing with after another early playoff exit.
Montreal fans are lucky. No, it’s not because of their on-ice success for the past 15 years and no it’s not because Montreal is a beautiful city. It’s because of Brendan Gallagher. This man is a hard worker, he resonates perfectly with Get Pucks Deep as loyalty is in his bones because he has only ever played for Montreal his entire life and on top of all of that he’s good-looking. With those cheekbones and facial structure, Montreal fans sure are lucky.
Like Evander Kane, Tom Wilson is a bit of a problem for the NHL. He’s had several suspensions for his on-ice antics and is sometimes viewed as the NHL’s bad boy.
This image is softened by his handsomeness. He’s the full package. His looks and ruggedness give off Friday Night Lights’ star Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) vibes which I’m sure the ladies can’t resist.
Luke is an up-and-coming player in the NHL. He’s only 22 years old and is the youngest player on this list. He posted 39 points last year in his first full year in the NHL while averaging only 13:57 minutes of ice time per game which are third-line minute numbers. Pretty impressive for a 22-year-old who is just getting his feet wet in the league. Luke will be a force in this league for years, but that’s not all. He is a handsome devil. He looks like the hockey version of Taylor Lautner, but more muscular and with much better hair. If it’s not happening already, girls will be coming to Nashville for more than just country music.
I don’t think anybody in hockey has been able to captivate the lady audience as well as Tyler Seguin. If there’s one hockey player whose rizz with the ladies is equally as good as his skills on the ice – it’s Tyler Seguin. The guy is a true lady killer. If you’re in Dallas and you’re not a Cowboys fan, what else is better than a professional hockey game featuring Tyler Seguin?!
Unique is how I describe Mason Marchment. His eyes are just nuts. Mix that in with an unreal stache and he’s one of the best-looking players in the NHL today. He’s had a bit of a journeyman career in the NHL as he has had a bit of a struggle trying to find a home but last year he potted 22 goals for 53 points with the Dallas Stars. Hopefully, this wasn’t a fluke and we will continue to see this handsome stud for years to come.
The best blonde flow in the NHL today goes hand down to the Swedish phenom, William Nylander. Many Swedes in the NHL today aren’t the best looking such as Elias Pettersson and Rasmus Sandin but the stylish Willy Nylander doesn’t follow that path. He’s been able to capture the hockey world with his slick skating and wicked shot. Willy has also been able to simultaneously capture the Toronto ladies with his looks something that fellow Toronto stars Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner can’t say the same for.
I mean come on. With Sean Monahan’s thick wavy black hair and imposing 6’2” build how are girls not going to line up for this guy? He’s good-looking and skilled what more can an NHL team want? Columbus tends to be a place where NHL players tend to not want to play but he ended up signing a 5-year deal with the team this summer anyway. While most of the hockey world is probably shocked I know some are ecstatic by this decision and they’re the women of Ohio.
Mr. Foligno is the most underrated best-looking NHL player in the league today. Over the past few years, there’s been a consensus as to who the hotties are in the league. Names such as Tyler Seguin and William Nylander are common but not once have I heard Marcus Foligno’s name and what a tragedy this is. The guy is the hockey player version of the late Paul Walker. He’s the taller and more rugged version of the Fast and Furious star. All you have to do is take a look at his photo below. The guy’s a gem.
Not only is he one of the best defensemen in the NHL but he is also one of the best-looking. Coming in at No. 2 is the great Roman Josi. The Swiss-born defenseman has suited up in over 900+ games and he’s been able to maintain all his teeth so his profile pics and selfie game with the ladies is strong. He’s a former Norris Trophy winner so we know he can play, At 6’1” and 201lbs we can only imagine the ladies he can pull.
Style-wise, looks-wise and hair-wise I don’t think there is another player today that can compare themselves to Erik Karlsson. I mean this guy has it all. He’s not only a three-time NHL Norris Trophy winner but his hair is luscious and flows with the best of them. He looks like Captain Jack Sparrow which is an obvious green flag and his style is impeccable. What’s not to like with this Flashy Swede? The guy truly is a spectacle on and off the ice and for these reasons, he’s our choice as the best-looking player in the NHL today.
Shea Theodore, Alex Pietrangelo, Jamie Benn, Brandon Carlo, Brandon Hagel, Adam Henrique and John Gibson.
The crown goes to none other than the open-eyed Brandon Tanev. His NHL mugshots are iconic not only for what he does with his eyes but for the flow. The gritty winger loves to play in the dirty areas and I hope his mentality for the game and his flow are here to stay.
Ryan Graves and Kris Letang.
